The middle class struggle for existence is never going to change. It is perhaps the most powerful tier in the societal stratum. The people are more emotional, but also more determined to fight against the odds than the lot. They have little opportunity to avoid being out of favour, yet have firm belief that they will be able to surprise their fortune by employing everything they have with them to win over luck.
